Chevron/ZigZag Baby Quilt

Haven't had much time or space to quilt the last couple of years. But like a bike, you never forget! Worked on this baby quilt this weekend. Still rusty on the free motion but I finally have the space and time to work on it :) Hope to be posting more projects......soon! I'm quite the beginner but feel free to comment or reach out with any questions or suggestions!

Gave this as a gift to my boss and my friend, it has all the colors of her living room scheme and it's the perfect cuddle size for her little self! She sent me a picture, saying that she loves, loves, loves her new blankie!

Sneak peak...

Another soft and fuzzy rag quilt

I love making rag  quilts! So super easy... and fast....however cutting the frays can start to suck after a while. Picked up some spring assist scissors...a must have.

Finished Frames

Not sure what to call this one! I need to really start planning my quilts or I'm going to continue ending up with odd or baby sized quilts. I like the way it turned out just not sure what I"m going to do with it.

Funky Frames

After being inspired by Natalie's Strawberry Shortcake, I pieced this top! I love the colors but like Natalie felt, not sure how I feel about it at this point. I hope to soon get the back and finish it. Can't wait to see it out once quilted, washed and dried....What should I work on next? Oh! The possibilities! :)

Winter's Cuddly

I made this baby rag quilt for a b-day present for Brad's niece who turns 2 in November. Kaylee helped with block layout, cutting and came up with the idea to put solid blocks along the bottom with her name! I am glad I listened to Kaylee's suggestions because I think it came out great! We can't wait to give it to her! :)

Albuequerque Sunset is complete!

I was finally able to finish, what has turned out to be one of my favorite quilts! I have not been able to cuddle with anything else! Loved my first experience with strip piecing...and continue to enjoy practicing free motion!
